1. About

Hello! I’m Glenn Zucman, thanks for visiting! I’m an Artist & Arts Educator in Los Angeles. You’ll find examples of my work throughout this portfolio and ideas on many topics in my blog. I love creating with a flat panel, and when I’m not doing that I prefer screen-free activities like kayaking in Newport Beach & hiking in the Santa Monica mountains.

WP Frontend Posting Themes
  1. P2: the original, most used, probably most reliable, media button, dated look
  2. Mercury: P2 Child Theme, probably looks better than P2, media button, responsive
  3. Roundtable: P2 Child Theme, very nice, but not responsive
  4. Houston: P2 Child Theme, might be best looking, but might have a bug, and has no media button
  5. O2: would have been great

PHP

WordPress & Joomla are PHP based. (Ghost uses NodeJS & Jekyll is written in Ruby) Sites seem to run dramatically faster under PHP 7 vs PHP 5 (there was no PHP 6). Joomla seems to run well w PHP 7. WordPress core also works mostly well with PHP 7, however older themes and plugins have many problems including fatal ones. Most of my sites currently run on PHP 7.1.
